Our Vision

Our approach is unique: culturally appropriate, socially responsible, environmentally sustainable and economically equitable.

Our team and partners are leading-edge financial, technical and cultural experts. We have deep roots in our communities, and a proven track record of building profitable and sustainable energy projects internationally.

IDG’s goal: implement our Native-to-Native model of alternative energy development in the Pacific region and beyond, for the benefit of ALL stakeholders AND future generations.

Our Approach

In Hawaiian, “pono” means righteous, correct, responsible– or simply put– “doing the right thing.” The IDG approach to energy development is sustainable, integrated, systemic, and, above all: PONO.

Our Native-to-Native model means our projects are ALWAYS culturally appropriate, socially responsible, environmentally sustainable and economically equitable.

We advocate for new Policies, use an Open and transparent process, insist on No violations or damage to host cultures or the environment and ensure Opportunities for the community to participate and benefit.
